New Healing Journey Webisode w/Mona Haydar

February 9, 2016
In this episode of The Healing Journey Mona Haydar and I discuss her relationship to spirituality and religion as a child; experiencing God in nature and the depth, stillness and interconnectedness that flourished as a result; poetry as an expression of God; what the word Islam means, discussing the peace and surrender aspects of it and how the universe has no problem intervening in our lives in order to make us surrender; who “the one God” is according to the Muslim faith; the role of the prophet Muhammad in the Muslim faith; the “Ask a Muslim” stand she and her husband Sebastian set up in Cambridge, MA, which offers free donuts and coffee to people, as well as a conversation about being Muslim; the power of reaching out to ones neighbor, regardless of their religion or lack thereof; sharing more love in the world and much more!

Thank You Stephen Levine

January 18, 2016
I’m deeply saddened by the news of Stephen Levine’s passing. His work, along with his wife Ondrea, has been hugely influential in my life. In my sadness however, I find comfort in Ondrea’s words regarding Stephen’s transition, “His heart has gone to God. His light is left here with us.” Thank you dearest Stephen, and thank you Ondrea.
