October 18, 2019 by Chris Grosso

Ken Booth

Ken Foree is an incredibly versatile American actor widely known for his role as Peter Washington in George Romero’s 1978 film Dawn of the Dead as well as Roger Rockmore on the Nickelodeon’s Kenan & Kel (amongst countless other well-known movies and television series).

In this conversation Ken and I discuss him working with Keith David in the recent documentary, Horror Noire, Ken’s friendship with Duane Jones (who played “Ben” in the seminal film, Night of the Living Dead), his role as Peter Washington in Dawn of the Dead, working with George Romero, working with Rob Zombie and playing “Big Joe Grizzly,” doing yoga with his mother, awe-inspiring life moments, frightening life moments, what inspires him in life, and much more.

The following interview was conducted on the morning of 10/11/19 at the Hilton Hotel in Worcester, MA prior to Ken’s appearance at the Rock & Shock Horror Convention.
