Helping A Friend

3HO

My name is PhillyT and I am in Long Term Recovery.  I am also a KRI certified Kundalini yoga instructor who has been teaching yoga in the South Florida community for over 16 years. My spiritual name is Puran Kaur.  Please help me win a grant sponsored by the 3HO Foundation and send me to New Mexico for Summer Solstice by casting your vote. You can vote daily.

My Live to Give Seva Project is bringing the science & technology of Kundalini yoga to children with mental, physical and congenital disabilities. With the approval from School PrincipaIs, I travel to Public School classrooms and work with the classroom teachers.

The yoga exercises help to raise their kundalini energy and stimulate their brain.  The sound of the symphonic gong or bells relaxes them and singing the mantras are just fun!  These children are pure love!  Many come from disadvantaged homes and would never be exposed to the technology otherwise.

My vision is to expose as many handicapped children as possible to the science and technology of Kundalini yoga.

Currently I travel to schools within Broward County, Florida.  My vision is to expand my reach into all of South Florida which includes neighboring Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Counties and who knows where it may grow from there.  It would help the seed to grow!

Here’s how to easily vote:

2. Click “LIKE” on the Live to Give FB page.

Remember youcan vote daily till May 9th!  Thank you & many blessings.

I voted for your friend and would like to suggest the removal of the word “handicapped” from the blurb. Children with disabilities or Children who have disabilities puts the child first (people first).
