An Interview With CT’s Precise Piercing And Tattoo Owner, Little Joe. |
Precise Piercing And Tattoo is a bold name for a tattoo shop, one however, this shop definitely deserves. I speak from experience as I’ve had work done from two of their resident artists (one of whom recently relocated to Brooklyn, NY). I’ve also known Joe Pantano (aka: Little Joe) since I first began going to Kustum Kulture Tattoo in Plainville, CT, where he used to work circa 1996. When I think about Little Joe, the first thing that comes to mind is “work ethic”. That may not be the first thing popular society would associate with a body piercer or tattoo shop, and often, rightfully so, but Joe and the tattoo artists at his shop take their craft very seriously, like few others I’ve ever met. I’m proud to share some insight into the world of tattooing and piercing with CT’s own “Little Joe”.

21 Year Old “Scream Queen” Scout Taylor Compton Talks With The Indie Spiritualist |
For being only 21, Scout Taylor Compton has a rather impressive resume. She’s most notably played Laurie Strode in Rob Zombie’s Halloween I & II. She also portrayed Lita Ford in 2009′s The Runaways, which starred Kristen Stewart & Dakota Fanning and has had roles in various sitcoms including Ally McBeal, ER, Frasier and Gilmore Girls. Scout is as unpretentious as they come, which is always welcome when doing interviews. The following was conducted on Oct 16th, 2010, while Scout was on break during her appearance at the 2010 Rock And Shock Fest in Worcester, Ma.

Bill Moseley Of The Devil’s Rejects- A Very Viral, And Visceral, And Scary, And Wonderful, And Terrible Interview. |
“Lick my plate, you dogdick”…If this quote means anything to you, then you probably know who Bill Moseley is. If not, maybe you’d recognize his face from roles such as Chop Top in Texas Chainsaw Massacre II, Otis B. Drfitwood in House Of 1000 Corpses & The Devil’s Rejects, or Luigi Largo in Repo! The Genetic Opera. Still nothing? Ok, you know the band Primus, right? Well, the “Dog Will Hunt” quote from Jerry Was A Racecar Driver is Bill Moseley! If you still have no clue, read on and learn about an actor/musician who is brilliant in his craft. While he plays some of the most maniacal characters on screen, off screen he is extremely nice, very intelligent (can you say Yale graduate?), and sincere in appreciation of his fans! In this interview, Bill Moseley speaks about spending time with Timothy Leary, rocking out with Buckethead, what made him uncomfortable playing Otis B Driftwood, and more. Enjoy!

The Gospel According To Brother Ali – An Interview With The Indie Spiritualist. |
Brother Ali is an artist, a friend, a poet, a Muslim, and has no problem being the first one to crack on being albino, or overweight, or whatever the occasion calls for. Since the release of his first studio album, Shadows of the Sun in 2003, Ali has earned respect and praise throughout the independent Hip Hop community, and is considered one of the most important voices rhyming today.
The writer of this article wishes to agree. Brother Ali has soul, not just in his music, but in the way he talks passionately about his love of Hip Hop, The Nation of Islam, his good friend Micahel “Eyedea” Larsen, and the oppressed and marginalized people who are all too often forgotten about. It is my privilege to present The Indie Spiritualist interview with Brother Ali.
